Pizzelles bring back wonderful Christmas memories for me and my family. It is an Italian tradition for us. And I can't even remember a Christmas without them.
Thankfully they are really easy to make gluten free. In our house you have to make a double batch because they disappear really quickly!!
What are your favorite Holiday cookies??
Oh Heather, those are gorgeous! I would love to learn how to make those, thanks for sharing! I don't know if I have one favorite, I love chocolate and pecans, so any cookie that includes those would be my first pick. Merry-Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious, and almost to pretty not to eat!
ReplyDeleteDo they have anise in them, they look good but I can't eat anise. My favourite cookies are ones I make with pistachios and coconut with a half macadima nut on top.
ReplyDeleteMerle.....
These are beautiful! I'm thinking you could even add food coloring and make rainbow snowflakes! I'm boring when it comes to cookies, I love chocolate chip cookies, warm out of the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE pizelles!! I ate way too many of them yesterday :o). Where do you find a pizelle maker? I would love to make my own gf ones!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
